Spring Year 1 The pack of Roshanee run by Syphira and Kadon, the pack Ketsuran, had taken claim to Cylena in the north. For those looking to join, wait for Syphira to call for members in Cylena. Spring has arrived, temperatures have become chilly in Renyana, but moderate and rainy in Rylani. Jecozac and Genro in Rylani, however, is experiencing a blizzard. Be cautious when traveling these lands!
Sumeria had been wandering way too far and when she realize she was lost, she almost thought she had reached heaven or something. She started chasing the little creatures around and kept howling here and there, as if that was a new game. She even went as far as rolling down in the grass and kept rolling and rolling, feeling carefree and happy until she hit something hard and rolled back to get on her feet and stared down at what she just hit.
Her first reaction was to run away, but then again, she shouldn't let anyone tell her she wasn't worth it, right? Oh the dilemma she had right now. Curious as ever, the young shewolf just stared at the newcomer, walking in circles, inspecting every detail as if sizing them up. Getting as close as she could, taking every ounce of courage she had within her, Sumeria said softly: "Is this where dead wolves end up? A-Are we...dead?" She frowned and started howling, as if mourning her own death, as silly as it sounded.
Back into the water. Here we go.. Was this a good idea? Probably not, but then again what as a good idea and what was a bad idea. What made something a good idea and what made something a bad idea. If asked that question, Kraken would just shrug and continue on his way. In his mind, currently, nothing was good and nothing was.. well, things were bad.
The had swam strongly across the water that divided the two islands, the scar on his shoulder screamed at him to stop but the wolf had felt the urge to be on the brother Island. Something about the other one seemed dark and foreboding as if death awaited you around the next corner. The swim was long and taxing, tiring and when the male had reached the shore of the next Island he lay panting on the ground for a moment before getting up and moving on. The land on the other island seemed to hiss and sneer, just like the voice in his head the egged him on.
- Kraken had passed through a good many lands before he came to this beautifully, strange, land. The lands here seemed more peaceful, they seemed less dark and eerie. There seemed to be life here, on the lands that made up the second Island. For a moment he stood in awe of the sight that met his eyes and then he began to move in circles, padding round and round. If one were to come upon him, they would perhaps see him as crazy and maybe he was, but, no.. Currently, he had his wits about him. He was testing the ground and padding if down so he could make a makeshift nest to lay down and rest his eyes in. As he was busy doing his turns a voice drifted over him.
Freeing, the wolf looked towards the source of the voice. His head cocking towards one side. Did she just ask if she was dead? Kraken stiffened.. Were they dead or were they alive?
"Mess with her" Came the sneering voice in his head. "Tell her she is dead and that we are the undertaker, here to claim her lost soul."
Kraken snarled outwardly. The voice annoyed him and some times he felt as if that side were taking over. So many days was he in darkness, so many days did he walk with his head in a fog as if he were unaware of what things were going on around him. He just wanted to be normal, like when he was a pup. "Dead? are you a fool?" he barked out at her, his words coming off harsher then he meant them to and realizing this his features softened slightly. "No, you are not dead.. Why do you ask?" the male spoke, ignoring the nagging voice in his head to mess with her, consume her, destroy her.. The wolf flattened his ears to his skull and drew in a sharp breath.
Fight it.. fight it.. fight it...
He willed himself to defeat the darkness that was creeping over him. "My name is Kraken, who are you?"
As the wolf replied to her she arched a brow. She was about to go after him but then his tone changed and she reconsidered as she snapped back : "Does my name really matter?" She circled him and then added softly : "Sumeria. And as I have never been around here… I thought...Ugh nevermind…" She collected her thoughts and found herself silly for thinking she had been dead a few moments before.
The intriguing male was making her inside scream to try and seduce him, but how was she supposed to do that? She just kept circling him trying to decide if he was worth her attempts at all. Approaching him cautiously she made an attempt to nudge him with her nose and trying to get a positive reaction out of him somehow. His flattened ears had her on high alert in case he tried attacking her out of the blue, though.
"Does that make us both dead, my dear?" The wolf asked with a tilt of his head as he watched the she wolf begin her circling. "I have not been here before either, perhaps you are right.. and we are in purgatory, waiting to meet our Maker." the wolf spoke in a silvery tone, a smile touching his maw. His sharp canines glistened in the light that bore down.
"Fool"
The voice echoed in his head again and the male winced as if he had been struck. Forcing himself to ignore the scratch, hissing, voice the male focused his attention on the she-wolf that continued to circle him. "Beautiful name, my name is Kraken, it is a pleasure to meet you." the newly named male barked out.
At the nudge, his ears went up and he cast a strange look in her direction. "Is there something the matter?" he asked a bit slyly.
