July 30th Renyana is officially open! Come one, come all and explore the world and what it has to offer!
Spring Year 1 The pack of Roshanee run by Syphira and Kadon, the pack Ketsuran, had taken claim to Cylena in the north. For those looking to join, wait for Syphira to call for members in Cylena. Spring has arrived, temperatures have become chilly in Renyana, but moderate and rainy in Rylani. Jecozac and Genro in Rylani, however, is experiencing a blizzard. Be cautious when traveling these lands!
tars twinkled against a blanket of darkness as night time took over the skies. Cool air moved about the land and danced with the leaves. Soon pinks and oranges began to color the blank morning sky. But tucked away in a small den in the side of a hill was a sleeping figure. The chest of the shadowed figure rose steadily as it slept. The rays of daylight haven’t yet reached into the den to wake the sleeping creature. Sunlight had begun to make a small difference in the cooler air, warming it ever so slightly. When finally the rays of sun had found their way into the darkened hole, stirring the shadow within it.
Ghost huffed as daylight broke his sleep, he didn’t yet wish to rise with the sun. Though to no avail, it stirred him into the land of the living. Picking his head up from the dirt floor, Ghost opened his jaws with a yawn. Blinking the sleep from his eyes as he moved to his paws for a good stretch. Shaking his body to remove the dirt from it. Thirst had taken over his wants so he headed for a nearby stream for a drink and a quick bath. Following a small trail down a slight slope. Once there, Ghost looked out over the small clearing that was but a few feet from the stream, nothing to be seen. Bending down Ghost lapped at the water, it was cool to the throat and soothing. As his thirst was quenched, the white wolf slipped into the waters and rolled a moment. Coming out of the water he shook the droplets from the ends of his fur, sending them raining on the grass below him.
Now, it was time for breakfast. Having had a decent meal the night before, he wasn’t terribly starving. “A rabbit should do”, thinking to himself. So Ghost headed for the clearing and stopped at the tree line. Crouching, he waited for movement, but thankfully his wait wasn’t long. A small gathering of deer and their young entered the meadow, but Ghost wasn’t in the mood for a fight. He wanted something quick and easy to catch. After several minutes passed he saw his choice in breakfast hopping along. Having the advantage of being upwind, it would be too late when the rabbit noticed him. And now, it was time for a hunt.
Slowly moving on silent paws, Ghost crept closer to the small-bodied animal. Only moving while it was busy chewing on grass. Finally, he was within pouncing distance, he took his shot. Using his back legs, Ghost sprang from his position and landed directly onto the rabbit and with a quick jerk, he had won his breakfast. Picking it up and leaving the meadow to return back to the stream. The morning was now in full swing as more animals began to stir and wake for the day. Ghost would spend most of his day sunbathing or strolling though what he had always known, this forest. Laying down beside the water Ghost began to enjoy his meal in blissful peace. The small breezed that came though ran through his coat. The sun warmed him as the rays couched his body. Was a wondrous feeling.
Finally full, Ghost drank from the stream and swished his muzzle around in the water to remove the staining blood. Making his mind up for a walk through the forest, Ghost headed down trails he knew. Having nothing particular in mind or no final destination, he let his paws take him anywhere.

Hibiki slowly padded through the forested area, her sightless gaze was wide but foggy. Her pawsteps were shuffled and uneven as she made her way on the uneven ground. Occasionally the she-wolf would stumble but would quickly upright herself and continue on her way. It was as if she were use to this and it wasn't new. Her father's words always echoed in her head when she stumbled; If you fall, my dear child, you must always get right back up. Do not show your fear, your pain, do not show any weakness.
The child was determined to do just that.. Not show weakness. But it was hard. It was hard being young, blind and alone. The world around her was always a fuzzy grayness - though it hadn't always been that way. She was born into a litter of four and was the only surviving one. She had been a sickly little thing and eventually a fear came over her and that was the cause of her blindness. Instead of dwelling on the things that were wrong with her the child always tried to think on the positive side and think of the things that were good. Being alive, that was a good thing!
Again the child stumbled and this time went rolling down the sloped edge and into the water with a loud splash. A yelp of surprise escaped from her as she frantically flailed her paws in an attempt to get to shore. After several seconds that seemed like forever the child was once more on the land, her sides heaving from the effort. Water... She was fearful of it, one thing that truly scared her.. That and the shadows that danced before her nearly completely blind gaze. Sitting there the child took deep breaths then sighed and slunk to the ground. How could she be the pack's healer if she couldn't do a simple like walking properly.
eaves fell around Ghost as he made his way down the game trail. Aimlessly, he pushed onward. Enjoying the peacefulness of the quiet breeze and few song birds that reached out every so often. Taking a deep breath the cool air filled his lungs, releasing all tension in his body on the exhale. His ears swiveled to and fro as he listened to the sounds of the forest. Taking in smells with his keen nose. It seemed like it would be another quiet day. Just how Ghost liked it, but his quietness soon would melt away.
Hearing a yelp not to far from his location and soon to follow a splash into water, really perked his interest. Ghost picked his pace up only slightly to investigate the sounds. Coming up onto the creek, Ghost stopped a few feet behind the treeline, looking about to see what had made the splash. Slightly taken back as a small pup pop out from under the surface of the water and made its way into land. Ghost watched silently as the young wolf slump to the ground with a sigh. This made Ghost tilt his head slightly before deciding to step out of the trees.
"Looks like you had a nasty fall young one. Are you alright", he asked her from across the creek. Taking a seat on the grass while gentle eyes looked her over to make sure she wasn't hurt.

The child hadn't scented nor heard the wolf approach so when the voice of the male fell over her the child shot up quickly into a sitting position and swung her head blindly around until she latched onto the scent and allowed for her head to come to a stop, her gray gaze angled at the male. She did not sense any kind of hostility coming from him so she forced down the fear the was bubbling up inside of her.
He had asked her a question and she should answer. Her mouth opened and closed several times; making her appear like a fish out of water. Several moments went by before the she-wolf finally responded. "Y.. yes, I.. I am okay... Or I think so.. J-j..just soaked.." she said sheepishly and turned her head to lick her wet pelt, glad that it was sticking to her skinny frame so that the other couldn't see it bristling in the fear that coursed through her body. "Have I.. crossed into another pack's territory?" She asked curiously, when it dawned on her that she could be in this male's home. Turning her head back to him the she-wolf tilted her head. The fear was slowly ebbing away but her heart continued to pound like a woodpecker pecking on a tree.
host watched as the pup swung around blindly. At first it confused the brute, but quickly he gathered the information,"she's blind", he thought to himself. With slightly widened eyes Ghost wanted to move and coddle the young wolf, but he didn't know who was either with or watching her. So he kept his distance. Slightly tilting his head again as the pup struggled to speak, what she mute as well? He wondered. Finally she had answered him,"I must say, thankfully that's all you've managed to fall into." A small chuckle escaped him before Ghost straightened up once more at her return question. "No little one, this land isn't claimed by that of a pack. I am a lone rogue, but I mean no harm. I heard you splash into the water and I came to see what happened. And when I showed up, I spotted you",shifting a little to scratch an itch on his shoulder. "Are you missing from your pack? Possibly lost",he asked.

The child cocked her head to one side. Oh, so he heard me fall.. I'm glad he didn't see it.. The girl thought to herself as heat began to rise under her pelt. She was glad of that, it probably was a site to see.. Her tumbling down, down, down.. into the water with a splash! The child shuffled a paw carefully over the ground, listening closely to his words.
When he spoke of the fact that he was a rogue and that this wasn't pack lands, her ears perked up slightly. "A rogue? I am on--.. No, I was.. I was one. I recently was taken into Roshanee pack.. I am their hea-.. Muse, a healer if you please.." the child said with a quite bark before shaking her head. "No, I am not lost. Or I do not think I am. I came out to find some herbs so I can make up my stock piles." A soft smile touched her child-like face.
host swiveled his ears around once to make sure no one else was sneaking upon them. Taking a deep breath to take note that no scent floated on the air around them, at least none he noticed. His body relaxed a bit as all was, so far, clear. Watching as the pup's head tilted with listening intent as he asked her questions. Some part of him was glad to hear this young one had been accepted, the thought of someone like her roaming the forest was a scary one. Obviously for her own safety since the woods was an unforgiving place. For those who have impairments, it was still just as relentless.
"Well that's a good thing, having a pack to have your back that is. And muse you say? Also a very important rank, congratulations", Ghost laid down on the soft grass beneath him, stretching as he rolled to his side. "I know these woods like the back of my paw, if you need to know where the best gathering spot are, I can show you", he offered.

The child, too, sat down. Her sightless gaze remained on the large wolf before her. Surely he was okay, he was speaking kindly and had asked if she was alright. He had made no move to hurt her and she was sure if he planned on doing that he would have done it already. Hibiki allowed for a smile to grace her small face. It was an honor.. the alpha female didn't know her completely and had quickly offered her the lead position of muse - despite her being young and blind. Part of her wondered why the she-wolf had done such a thing but the other part of her told her not to worry that everything was okay.
"Thank you.." she woofed meekly, her ears pinning to her head shyly then perking up happily. "You know this forest? Then would you show me? I.. I mean.. If you don't mind, of course." the child added quickly.
host sat back up as he listened to her talk. He knew there was a rather large amount of herbs around the bend into the next meadow. Of course, he'd help her gather what she needed and then return her to the pack's border. Her wondering around in this part of the forest alone wasn't something he would allow. Sure she was about to care for herself, but what if she fell in a larger and deeper part of the creek next time? Or run into others that would see her harmed? Most times it didn't bother him what happened to others, but when it came to the young ones, he wouldn't stand for their fates to be cut short by negligence. So he would help her if she needed or wanted it, of course, his help could only go so far. Hopefully, her pack would reprimand her for asking him instead of a pack member.
"My pleasure", Ghost moved to his feet and easily leaped over the stream, landing next to her. "I don't mind at all, it's not far from here and afterward I'll see you home. The last thing we want is for you to take another trip into cold waters", a simple chuckle rumbled in his chest as he moved back up the small incline to the path he walked before. "What kind of herbs are you looking for? Just any kind for today", asking to see if where they were headed was the right place. He knew of several places where herbs were gathered, he himself had a decent stash at home. Moving at an even pace for her to keep up with his strides so she wouldn't lose him.

The child got to her paws when she heard the male landing. The soft thudding of paws hitting the ground tingled through her paws. Her ears twitched ontop of her head as she heard him speak again.
Surely there was nothing wrong with this male, right? He was being kind and offering his assistance to her and to take her home. Was he protecting her? The pup tilted her head slightly but said nothing regarding it. "Any old herb will do for now. I am just trying to get my supplies up" Hibiki said with a slight wag of her tail, her sightless gaze lighting up.
he path was slightly narrow, just enough for them to walk side by side. Ghost chose to take the outer edge as he feared she would take another tumble. Knowing the water got deeper and wider the further down they went. Ghost wasn't willing to take that chance. He knew of several herbs in a gathering that he himself had collected over the years as this was where he grew up. Leaving her space between them so she could walk freely without a led if she needed it. Ghost hadn't been around another wolf that he actually somewhat got along with, so this was a pleasant company. Someone who he could actually hold a conversation with that wouldn't end in blood and a showcase of new scars. Plus pups had always been a weakness of his anyhow. The innocence is what is needed in this cruel world. Pure happiness. Ghost walked in silent complacency as they moved along towards the clearing. Finally making it as the rounded a bend in the trail.
"Finally, we've made it", Ghost smiled. Herbs sprouted from the ground in every corner of the clearing, strong smells came from them as the wind kicked up a nice breeze. "Follow me, I'll show you some Comfrey, levander, and the feverfew. Of course, they are all helpful", stepping towards a group of comfrey and sniffing. "Depending on how long you are looking for herbs I do actually know of another place that has rarer herbs, but granted it is a decent hike to another part of the woods", Ghost took a seat to let her gather. He had plenty of a stockpile back at home.

The young wolf walked along side the older male. She could feel that the path was narrow and was thankful to the male at her side. It had been a long time since someone had been kind like this and for a moment she was reminded of her lovely father, who took such great pains to keep her alive and well. A smile passed over her small face and only when she heard him speak did she become alert again.
Her ears angled forwards and her nose twitched at the smells. She quickly recognized them and followed Ghost closely, full of eagerness. Her favorite was the smell of Lavender; such a sweet and beautiful smell. Her heart swelled at the idea of picking the beautiful healing herbs. She moved her head so that her sightless gaze rested on him. "There are so many! I can smell them!" she breathed with an excited tone. Leaving his side she began sniffing happily at the herbs, going to and fro and carefully collecting what she wanted and thought she needed. "Another place? Is it far?" she asked through a mouthful of comfrey..
